Welcome to The Pastor Wife Life!

Life in the ministry is one of the most fulfilling callings there is, but it’s also one of the most challenging. Our hope is to bring encouragement and inspiration to your pastor wife life. We believe that God has uniquely gifted you to fulfill this calling. Our lives will probably not look the same. Our families and churches may be very different, but I think we can all agree that God is good and He is faithful to gently lead us on this journey, providing everything we need to live the Pastor Wife life. (Sound familiar? That’s the intro for the podcast! 😊)

1. You will be encouraged to embrace your God-given platform with confidence and joy.

Through the podcast, blog, and private Facebook group, you will hear stories from other pastors’ wives just like you. Your faith will be strengthened by testimonies of God’s goodness and faithfulness in the best of times and the most challenging of times. You will be reminded that confidence in who He is will bring joy no matter what season you find yourself in.

2. You will be inspired to discover God’s vision for your pastor wife life.

Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.” God has a specific vision for your life, including your role as a pastor’s wife. He chose you – for your husband, for your family, for your church, for your community. Your life experiences -the good, the bad, and the ugly – along with your gifts, talents, and abilities have set the stage for how He wants to use you to bring glory to Him. If you’ve struggled with your purpose, you’ll find biblical advice and women who will pray with you to help you discover His vision for your pastor wife life.

3. You will be motivated to boldly step into your purpose.

Maybe it’s just me, but there is no shortage of things to do, places to go, and people to see in my role as a pastor’s wife. But it’s easy to get tangled up in the day-to-day details of life. It’s easy to live in the “someday I will . . . ”. It’s easy to let fear hold me back from stepping out of my comfort zone. Our hope here at The Pastor Wife Life is to share stories, practical tips, and maybe a kick in the pants to help you get moving into all the God has for you.

4. You will connect with other pastors’ wives who share this unique calling.

Inside the private Facebook community (with over 5,500 pastors’ wives) you will have the opportunity to connect with pastors’ wives from all over the world and we frequently post “getting to know you” questions related to roles and locations. We’ve seen many friendships develop between pastors’ wives – both online and in-person!

5. You will have the opportunity to encourage and inspire other pastors’ wives when you share your story.

One of the beautiful things about the Facebook group is the wealth of knowledge and combined years of experience. If you need advice, you will get answers from a multitude of perspectives. And when you share your experiences of how God has worked in you, your family, your church, and community, you will be an encouragement to others. I’d love to share your story on the podcast.
